Wholehearted Parenting
Oct 29 Sat 10-6

Sarah Charuk and Monica Denowh at Desert Awakenings Ranch present: Wholehearted parenting. Come join us! for an inspirational and fun filled day. Inspired by Parenting Manifesto (Brene Brown) will guide us through this powerful one day workshop. Do you question your role as a parent and long to connect with other like mind-parents?

"If we can share our story with someone who responds with empathy and understanding shame can't survive" - Brene Brown.

This workshop will incorporate Brene Brown's work with assistance from the heard. As a bonus we will bring in guest facilitator Monica Denowh who will lead us through the Dia de Muertos an ancient Mexican tradition of welcoming loved ones and honoring those who have passed. All cultures and ethnicities will be honored. She will guide us in creating our own personal altars and explain the significance incorporating meditation and ceremony.
"Who we are and how we engage with the world are much stronger predictors of how our children will do than what we know about parenting" - Brene Brown
Through story, Native tradition and interactive time with horses discover the wisom they have to share. Experience a Native American smudge and be one on one with a sentient horse. Each participant will then have a session with a chosen horse from the herd as they walk the labyrinth with their horse companion.

Let us remember the gift of our children.
Let us call in the wisdom of each other, ancestors and sentient herd. TOGETHER WE WILL AWAKEN
